Fuchsias

The fuchsias of the Mendocino Coast are the darlings of the gardens. They are playful and pretty, and the hummingbirds love them. These were growing on the trail of the Mendocino Botanical Gardens, in a lush gulch, along with rhododendrons & iris. It was amazing to see all these flowers blooming at the same time. This watercolor background was created by adding salt at just the right time.
